OdySea San Diego is an upcoming aquarium located at Seaport Village in San Diego, California, that will open as early as 2024. Currently there is no website for the aquarium, so it was my task to design a conceptual desktop and mobile homepage. With their primary target audience being parents and grade school teachers—as well as eager children ready to learn and have fun—the website should be easy to navigate as well as engaging.
I chose "Circular" as the typeface throughout the webpage because it has quirks that give it a lot of warmth. I included content such as an "Interactive Live Octopus Cam" and a "Meet the Fish" section to keep the customers interested and excited about the aquarium.  The colors throughout the website are taken from images of the ocean and images of fish to not only keep the theme of underwater fun, but to also be fun and playful for the younger audience.
This past Spring, the City College Design Program has collaborated with the Board of Seaport Village San Diego to discuss plans for the upcoming redesign of the park. My website was displayed at Seaport Village's exhibition, along with other projects from peers.
